THE REWARD OF HELPING, AND HOW TO DO IT On one hand, the club can boast of enormous success in recruiting volunteers. All our junior teams had coaches and managers. And for some teams the coaches had no direct ties to the players. That means they were not parents. They were people who approached the club and asked if they could have the opportunity to work with either a junior team. Some are lawyers, college principals, entrepreneurs, television producers, engineers and finance traders. Coaches and managers are the bedrock of the club. They make or break it. We are confident that most coaches and managers find it a deeply rewarding experience. But there are other tasks that must be undertaken to support players in their matches and training sessions. And it is here the the club has had only modest success. We’re very approachable and keen to share these other tasks. You don’t have to wait for the club’s annual general meetings to stand for election to get involved. Contact our club secretay admin@queensparkfc.com.au at anytime to find out how you might be able to help. THE CLUB WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FUNCTION WITHOUT THE HELP OF VOLUNTEERS THROUGH OUT THE SEASON.
